Tobacco «Midewivan Sacred» - also known as sacred Aztec tobacco. The oldest of all existing shags. Mapacho was also used for various medicinal purposes.
It differs from the Ukrainian shag by a more powerful stem about a meter high, denser and larger leaves. The leaves are also darker and the flowers are greenish. It is not too late to plant it even in May by direct sowing into the ground and by September you are guaranteed to get a harvest of leaves. This tobacco can also be grown on balconies. It must be used with extreme caution, because it is very strong and can cause burns to the mucous membranes. Therefore, to reduce the strength of the leaves, they are mixed with crumbs of dried stems.
