Thuja western pyramidal / Thuja Occidentalis Pyramidalis
Coniferous tree about 6 m high, maximum height up to 10 m. The crown is dense pin-shaped or narrow-conical (pyramidal). Shoots are strong, short, tightly pressed to each other. The needles are large, scaly, light green, with a faint sheen.
Optimal growing conditions and care rules:
Prefers fresh, moist, fertile loam, without stagnant water. Grows well in full sun and partial shade. Winter-hardy. The first two or three years after planting, shading is recommended from winter and spring sunburn.
Application:
Often used to create green hedges, and also look great in single and group plantings. Good for creating alleys.
