Fragrant-flowered garlic seeds

Fragrant-flowered garlic or Chinese chives/ Allium ramosum (Allium odorum L.) - perennial view (in one place grows up to 7 years). Leaves are used, they are flat, linear. It tastes like garlic. Suitable for forcing greens from rhizomes in the off-season.

(Alliurn odorum L.) Does not form a true bulb. The false bulb is weakly expressed (diameter 0.7-1.2 cm), has a cylindrical shape. The plant branches strongly, by the fourth year of life it can form 115-130 or more shoots, each with 2-7 leaves. Blooms in the second year of life. Seeds remain viable for 2-3 years.

Allspice is used mainly in its raw form, since up to 80% of vitamin C is lost during processing. Its juicy leaves quickly lose their freshness and supply of vitamins, they can be stored for no more than 2-3 days at a temperature of 0 to 2°C.

Even in a small amount, fresh greens of allspice stimulates appetite, enhances the secretion of digestive juice, and contributes to better absorption of nutrients by the body. Green leaves contain up to 3% sugars, are rich in vitamin C, carotene, mineral salts, especially calcium and iron salts, vitamins B1 and B2. In cooking, it is widely used to decorate dishes, as the main component of salads with various sauces, as well as in salads with other vegetables, eggs, fish, and seafood.
