This is a perennial plant with a height of 80-110 cm. It is grown in one place for 3-5 years. The period from regrowth to cutting leaves (in the second year of vegetation) is 50-60 days. The rosette of leaves is semi-raised, the number of shoots is 25-70. This variety of lemon balm "Pearl" has good foliage. The leaf is short-petiolate, medium in size, ovate or rounded, serrated along the edges, dark green, without wax coating, slightly wrinkled and smooth.

The mass of one plant is 0.86-1.16 kg. The aroma is strong, delicate, refreshing, lemony. The yield of greens from lemon balm "Pearl" is 4.3-5.8 kg / m2. Recommended for use fresh and dried, for flavoring teas, vinegars, flavoring liqueurs and tinctures.
