Stock (matthiola) «Pink Viking» - an annual herbaceous plant 40-50 cm high. The flowers are regular, very fragrant, collected by 10-60 in racemose inflorescences of various lengths and shapes. Flowering lasts from June until frost.
Prefers open sunny places, fertile soils with a neutral reaction, does not withstand stagnant water and prolonged drought: cold-resistant. Seeds for seedlings are sown in mid-March.
Seedlings can be planted in an open ground as early as possible, since levkoy tolerates frosts down to -5 C. To ensure continuous flowering and cutting throughout the summer, repeat sowing is carried out every 10-15 days. Seeds are sown in an open ground at the end of April.
Used in flower beds, mixborders, on balconies.
