Canary-creeper, canarybird flower, canarybird vine, or canary nasturtium / Tropaeolum peregrinum - unique shade, pleasant aroma. Annual herbaceous plant. Stems are highly branched, thin, up to 200 - 350 cm long. Flowers are small, with a subtle pleasant aroma, irregular, with corrugated petals, on long peduncles, single, located in the leaf axils.
Flowering occurs from the end of June until frost. Plants are heat- and light-loving, prefer moderately fertile and moist soils.
Seeds are sown in open ground in early May. Shoots appear in 4-7 days. Used to decorate containers, garden vases, hanging baskets.
