Description

Carpathian bellflower «White carpet» - one of the best for alpine slides. Perennial plant with thin leafy stems up to 30 cm high. Bushy growth pattern. Bush up to 30 cm in diameter. Flowers are single, funnel-shaped-bell-shaped, up to 5 cm in diameter, white.

Blooms from June for 60-70 days. Prefers sunny places with loose loamy soils. After flowering, the inflorescences are cut off.

Grown through seedlings, seeds for seedlings are sown in April. Blooms in 2-3 years. Grows in one place for up to 6 years.

Used in single and group plantings, flower beds, mixborders, borders, rock gardens, for landscaping, as a potted plant, for forcing and for cutting.
