Agrotechnics of growing watermelons
Watermelon «Taurian» - the variety is mid-season 80-105 days. Highly productive, suitable for cultivation in open ground and under film. Gives a high yield, even in dry conditions. The fruits are rounded, striped, with an average weight of 4-7 kg.
Handles transportation well. The flesh is bright red, sweet, fine texture. Disease resistant.

Watermelon is grown in open ground and greenhouses on light soils. Sowing in open ground is carried out at the end of May. Sowing seedlings - in late April, early May. When the threat of frost has passed, the seedlings are planted in the ground (at the age of 30-35 days, in the phase of 3-4 true leaves) according to the scheme 80x200 cm.
As the plants grow, they form into one stem, removing side shoots, and leaving 2-3 ovaries. Further care consists in watering, fertilizing and loosening.
