Description

Mallow terry «Dark pink» - is a perennial plant, grown as a biennial. Drought-resistant and frost-resistant plant 75-250 cm high. The flowers are large, 10-15 cm in diameter, dark pink in color. Used for decorative flower beds, in groups and for cutting into large vases.

Sow immediately in a permanent place.

Sowing indoors from March to June in boxes with planting soil. Sow rarely. Lightly cover with soil. Water regularly. Cover with clean glass, polyethylene or a lid. Temperature regime 15°С. Seedlings appear on the 21-28th day.

When shoots appear, remove the cover. When seedlings become large, plant them one at a time in pots with a diameter of 8 cm. Harden off the plants gradually (avoid frost). At the beginning of summer, transplant to a prepared place with an interval of 50-60cm.

Sowing in open ground from May to July. Sow rarely at intervals of 30 cm, sprinkle with soil. Water regularly. In September-October, plant out with an interval of 50-60cm.

Flowering from June to August in the second year after sowing.
