Hot pepper (bitter) «Jalapeno orange» - is a type of chili pepper, small in size, which is valued for its special pungency that remains in the mouth after eating. This is a jalapeño with fruits that are bright orange in color and have a fruity aroma. The fruits are more elongated than the regular Jalapeño and look like carrots. From each bush you can remove from 25 to 50 fruits as they grow and ripen.
Reddened fruits are considered lower quality than green ones, so green Jalapeno fruits are used for canning and pickling.
The period from planting to ripening is 75-90 days. The plant reaches a height of 40-50 cm. High taste, versatility of use and good yield.
Jalapeño is named after the city of Jalapa, State of Veracruz (Mexico).
