Hot pepper (bitter) «Jalapeno purple» - is a type of chili pepper, small in size, which is valued for its special pungency that remains in the mouth after eating. A purple twist on the classic Jalapeno, but overall it doesn't look too much like the «original». It differs in the shape and behavior of the ovary. A beautiful pepper with black (unripe) fruits of medium size (up to 5 cm) with thick pulp of pleasant taste. When ripe, the fruits are red with traces of anthocyanin.
Early Peppers take up to 80 days to fully ripen. The plant itself reaches a height of about 1 meter and, as the fruits grow and ripen, produces a harvest of 25-35 peppers. Reddened fruits are usually dried and smoked. In addition, chipotle is prepared from red fruits. This is the name of one of the Mexican seasonings, which is made by smoking.
