Celery leaf «Gentle»
Mid-season variety of celery. From germination to maturity - 70-80 days. Delicate fragrant leaves are used both fresh and dried, as a seasoning for soups, salads and canning.
It is distinguished by a rapid and abundant growth of greenery after harvest. Cold-resistant, tolerates frosts down to -6°C. In the first year it forms a sprawling rosette of 50-70 leaves with hollow petioles.
Leaf celery can grow in shady places, the optimum growth temperature is 16-20°C. It grows well on loose and fertile soils. The use of celery improves digestion, metabolism, strengthens the nervous system, has a diuretic effect, promotes restful sleep.
