Hot pepper (bitter) «Cayenne Joe’s Long» - its name from the city of Cayenne in French Guiana. It has many beneficial medicinal qualities. For example, cayenne pepper is traditionally used in the treatment of the pulmonary and digestive systems.
Cayenne pepper is used in sauces, for pickling, for tinctures with vodka, olive oil or vinegar with herbs. But most often, the fruits are dried and ground into a powder to obtain the famous cayenne pepper seasoning.
One of the longest varieties in the Cayenne variety group. The fruits are 15 cm long and thin, slightly curved. The plant is tall, up to 1m. Harvest. Good immunity and disease resistance. The variety is mid-season, from planting seedlings to full maturation 90-100 days. Sowing seedlings in early February.
Suitable for mass cultivation for marketable products. Can be grown indoors in pots from 5 liters.
Taste: 30.000-50.000 on the Scoville scale (Scoville). Sharpness is above average.
