Waller's balsam - a well-known perennial plant, grown in open ground as an annual. The stems are thick, branched, up to 50 cm high. The flowers are simple, 2-3 cm in diameter, of various colors, located in the axils of the leaves.
Grown through seedlings. The plant is thermophilic, but prefers places in the shade. Blooms outdoors from June until frost, indoors all year round. Used to decorate flower beds, balcony boxes, window flowerpots and as an indoor ornamental plant.
It is grown by sowing seeds in open ground in May or through seedlings in April. The seedlings are transplanted to a permanent location when the threat of frost has passed. Impatiens are widely used to decorate flower beds, borders, window and balcony boxes, and are also grown as an indoor flower.
