Description
Ipomoea quamoclit «Red Liana» / Quamoclit pennata - this is an annual climbing vine. The plant is 2-3 m high, with delicate finely dissected leaves and red star-shaped flowers with a diameter of 2-3 cm.
It is grown by sowing seeds for seedlings in February-March. The plant is transplanted into open ground in June. Flowering begins in July and lasts until frost.
They are used for vertical gardening of balconies, gazebos and terraces.
Commonly known as cypress vine, cypress vine morning glory, cardinal creeper, cardinal vine, star glory, star of Bethlehem or hummingbird vine.
