Agrotechnics of growing watermelons
Watermelon «Producer» - medium early variety. The fruit is round, leveled, the same, weighing up to 12 kg, has a hard light green skin, on which there are dark green stripes. The flesh is tender, dark red, without veins, very crispy and sweet.
Watermelon has over 12% sugar. Productive, disease resistant, long shelf life.

Watermelon is grown in open ground and greenhouses on light soils. Sowing in open ground is carried out at the end of May. Sowing seedlings - in late April, early May. When the threat of frost has passed, the seedlings are planted in the ground (at the age of 30-35 days, in the phase of 3-4 true leaves) according to the scheme 80x200 cm.
As the plants grow, they form into one stem, removing side shoots, and leaving 2-3 ovaries. Further care consists in watering, fertilizing and loosening.
