Agrotechnics of growing watermelons
Watermelon «Yarilo» - the variety is early ripe for cultivation in open and protected ground. Ripening period 60-70 days. The plant is medium-sized. The fruits are elongated-rounded, weighing 4-6 kg. The surface is green with faint dark green stripes. The pulp is red, juicy, sugary, very sweet.

Watermelon is grown in open ground and greenhouses on light soils. Sowing in open ground is carried out at the end of May. Sowing seedlings - in late April, early May. When the threat of frost has passed, the seedlings are planted in the ground (at the age of 30-35 days, in the phase of 3-4 true leaves) according to the scheme 80x200 cm.
As the plants grow, they form into one stem, removing side shoots, and leaving 2-3 ovaries. Further care consists in watering, fertilizing and loosening.
