Ageratum houstonianum «Mix», commonly known as flossflower, bluemink, goatweed, blueweed, pussy foot or Mexican paintbrush - a compact annual plant 10-20 cm high, with blue, pink and white inflorescences. It blooms from late June until frost. To continue blooming, faded inflorescences are removed. Any garden soil, sunny place or partial shade is suitable.
It is used to decorate the foreground of flower beds, effectively filling free spaces in group plantings on flower beds.
It can be pronounced as Ageratum houstonianum, or Ageratum mexicana, or Long-flowering.
