Pumpkin «Blue Hubbard» - refers to varieties of medium ripening, its fruits are usually ready for harvest 105-110 days after germination.
Crocodile pumpkin - this variety received such a nickname due to its characteristic spindle shape and rough, bumpy peel, reminiscent of alligator skin. In addition to the unusual texture and impressive size, the fruits of this cultivar are distinguished by a pale blue color that is rare for a pumpkin.
It grows in the form of a huge drop weighing 5-10 kg, has a beautiful blue-gray skin and orange flesh. Blue Hubbard has a great sweet, nutty taste similar to sweet potatoes (yam). Enjoy it in soups, steamed, baked, mashed. Pumpkin can be stored up to 6 months.
Hubbard squash is also very decorative. Its unique and interesting appearance is a perfect addition to the autumn garden.
