Corn supersweet «Jamala» F1 - a hybrid of supersweet corn. The ripening period is early - 73-75 days. The plant forms large cobs 23 cm long with bright yellow grains. The sugar content is over 20%. The hybrid is intended for fresh implementation.
Why super sweet?
Super sweet sweet corn or Sh2 type corn - schranken:
- the name comes from the appearance of the dried grains - «wrinkled»;
- has a very slow conversion of sugars into starch;
- contains 4-10 times more sugar content than normal Su type sweet corn
- under normal conditions, it can be stored up to 21 days after collection, but it has the best taste qualities during the first 7 days.
