This is a flowering, evergreen ivy with beautiful and tasty fruits. Coccinia is a perennial plant of the gourd family, which is why it is also called ivy gourd, but the fruits look more like cucumbers, lives and grows up to 50 years.
It grows very quickly, begins to bloom and bear fruit in the second year. Liana grows from 3.5 to 5 meters per season.

The fruits are sweet, taste like a banana + melon + strawberries. Ripe fruits make a delicious jam.
