Agrotechnics of growing watermelons
Watermelon «Victoria» F1 - ultra-early watermelon with concentrated fruit ripening. Vegetation period 55-60 days. Forms rounded, striped, very uniform fruits with an average weight of 5-8 kg. In the first days of its development, it requires enhanced nutrition and optimal watering. The pulp is tender, red, juicy, with high taste qualities.
Very fruitful, ripens in the earliest terms, especially with the use of temporary film shelters.

Watermelon is grown in open ground and greenhouses on light soils. Sowing in open ground is carried out at the end of May. Sowing seedlings - in late April, early May. When the threat of frost has passed, the seedlings are planted in the ground (at the age of 30-35 days, in the phase of 3-4 true leaves) according to the scheme 80x200 cm.
As the plants grow, they form into one stem, removing side shoots, and leaving 2-3 ovaries. Further care consists in watering, fertilizing and loosening.
