Agrotechnics of growing watermelons
Watermelon «Suga Baby» - excellent taste, thin skin. Early maturing variety. The growing season lasts 65-70 days from planting seedlings. The fruits are round, medium size, weighing 4-5 kg. The skin is dark green. The flesh is bright red. Productivity is 5-6 kg/sq.m.
The variety has excellent taste, relatively resistant to anthracnose, transportable. Used fresh.

Watermelon is grown in open ground and greenhouses on light soils. Sowing in open ground is carried out at the end of May. Sowing seedlings - in late April, early May. When the threat of frost has passed, the seedlings are planted in the ground (at the age of 30-35 days, in the phase of 3-4 true leaves) according to the scheme 80x200 cm.
As the plants grow, they form into one stem, removing side shoots, and leaving 2-3 ovaries. Further care consists in watering, fertilizing and loosening.
