Broadleaf lavender (purple-pink) is a perennial ornamental plant with incredible flowers and an elegant fragrance. Numerous shoots form a dense and compact bush with a pyramidal to spherical shape, reaching a height of up to 60 cm. A significant portion of the plant’s height consists of the flowering spike. The flowers are highly aromatic, with delicate pink-purple petals.
It grows in protected sunny locations. Cultivated by sowing seeds in open ground either in winter or spring. The plant requires winter cover. Before spring sowing, the seeds undergo stratification.
Lavender flowers are used in bouquets, for filling sleep pillows, in culinary applications, and for fragrance.
