Cumin «Appetizing» / Carum Carvi (cumin, caraway)
A very valuable spice and medicinal plant. All parts of the plant are used: greens, roots, seeds. Young leaves or seeds are used for food, soups are cooked with them and meat is stewed, they are added to flavor pastries and pickles when pickling cucumbers and cabbage.
The following infusion is most popular: 1 tbsp of crushed fruits is poured over with a glass of boiling water and, after cooling, they drink 3 tbsp. spoons 5 times a day. This remedy improves digestion.
In addition, cumin is a good choleretic, sedative, tonic and laxative.
Sow cumin in early spring or late autumn.
