Basil «Purple» - a variety with a branched green stem and purple leaves, rich in carotene and vitamins, essential oils, has a strong and pleasant cinnamon smell. Bush 25-35 cm high. The variety is resistant to diseases and high temperatures. The yield of greens is 2.5 kg/m2, seeds are 50 g/m2.
The leaves and upper parts of young shoots are used fresh and dried for flavoring dishes, for canning vegetables and fish, as well as in the confectionery industry and perfumery.
A heat-loving plant with a height of 40-60 cm. Sow in open ground or in a greenhouse in a wide-row manner every 30-40 cm. Basil is harvested at the beginning of flowering.
