Basil «Green» - an early variety with a strong lemon aroma. Used in salads, appetizers, for decorating and flavoring dishes and preparing classic pesto sauce. The height of the bush is up to 35 cm, the leaves are green and bright. The variety is resistant to most diseases, the yield is high, up to 2.5 kg per 1 m2.
The leaves and upper parts of young shoots are used fresh and dried for flavoring dishes, for canning vegetables and fish, as well as in the confectionery industry and perfumery.
A heat-loving plant with a height of 40-60 cm. Sow in open ground or in a greenhouse in a wide-row manner every 30-40 cm. Basil is harvested at the beginning of flowering.
