Eschscholzia «Red chief» - annual plant. The stems are erect, up to 15-30 cm high. The flowers are up to 7 cm in diameter, dark red in color.
Seeds are sown in April-June or November directly in open ground. At a temperature of 14-18°C, seedlings appear on days 9-12. Grows well in open sunny areas with dry sandy soil.
Used mainly for group plantings, flower beds, ridges, flower lawns, rocky hills and cutting.
