Limonium Suworowii (sea-lavender, statice, caspia or marsh-rosemary) / Limonium suworowii - an annual plant 60-80 cm high. The plant is a rosette of leaves with shoots emerging from it. The inflorescences are long, spike-shaped, consisting of small pink flowers. The flowers are collected in long spikelets of a slightly curved shape, reaching 80 centimeters in height. The unusual shape gives them a special charm and elegance. Blooming is abundant from July until frost.
Limonium is placed in small groups in mixborders, rockeries, and is also used as a dried flower, cutting off fully opened inflorescences and hanging them in a dark, ventilated place in bunches, flowers down. Needs a sunny place.
Sowing for seedlings is carried out in early April, direct sowing in open ground in May. Shoots appear in 10-12 days. It is better to transplant seedlings into pots, as seedlings with an open root system take root poorly. They are planted in a permanent place in May, at a distance of 20-25 cm from each other.
