Amaranth (pigweed) «Fire» - an annual plant. Stems are erect, up to 70-150 cm high. Decorativeness is achieved due to the different colors of the leaves - a combination of red, crimson, cherry and green colors. Used mainly for lawn beds, borders and solitaires.
Seeds are sown in April in greenhouses or in open ground directly to a permanent place. At a temperature of 15-18 ° C, shoots appear on the 8-11th day. After shoots appear, the plants are thinned out. It grows well in open, illuminated areas with fertile soil.
