Description
Lima bean «Peruvian marble» bush - a little-known type of legume, discovered in Lima (Peru), where its name comes from. It is considered, along with corn, an ancient crop. Bean grains were used as food and for treatment long before our era.
It has excellent taste qualities, boils quickly, is undemanding to growing conditions and is very productive. Lima beans are often called butter beans for their creamy taste when cooked.
