Begonia «Copacabana yellow» F1 - an exclusive hybrid of ampelous begonia. Prefers to grow in partial shade on rich soils. Bell-shaped flowers measuring 6-7 cm, plant height 35 cm. At first, the plant grows straight, and over time produces a large number of shoots. In pots, it forms a lush cascade, and in flowerbeds, a creeping form.
The hybrid is well adapted to drought and does not suffer from rain.
Sow in January-February. A layer of calcined sand 3 mm thick is poured onto the soil, leveled and well moistened. The seeds are not sprinkled. The planting container is covered with glass and placed in a lighted, warm place. At a soil temperature of +20-25 ° C, shoots appear on the 10-14th day. Water with soft water from a sprayer.
The first picking is in the phase of 3 leaves, the second - after 2 months. Blooms in 14-15 weeks from germination. Plants are ideal for large hanging baskets, flowerpots and boxes in elevated places, as well as for planting in flower beds and flower gardens.
