Amaranth «Red fox tail» - an annual ornamental plant with a powerful stem, 50-70 cm high. It has heavy, drooping, long and dense inflorescences, from dark red to dark purple. The plant is heat-loving, grows well in sunny, wind-protected areas with fertile and moist soil. Blooms from June until frost.
It is used mainly for lawn beds, borders, for cutting. It is widely used in floristry. Amaranth inflorescences retain their decorative effect for a long time, and when drying, they retain their color and remain just as bright.
Sow (month, depth) - IV-V, 0.5-1 cm.
Planting pattern (cm) - 40x50.
Harvested (month) - VII-IX.
