Cabbage seeds «Zumovka»

White Cabbage «Zumovka» - late-ripening variety. The period from germination to harvest is 130–150 days. Heads are medium-sized, round-flat in shape, light green in color, yellow-white inside, weighing 2–4 kg.

Cabbage prefers fertile, moisture-retentive soils with a neutral pH (6.5–7.5). In autumn, the soil is dug with the addition of humus and phosphorus-potassium fertilizers. In spring — harrowing, leveling the surface, and preparing the beds. Grown by seedling method: seeds are sown 35–45 days before planting in the ground. Seedlings are planted when the soil warms up steadily to +10…+12 °C, according to the scheme 60×60 cm or 70×70 cm.

Care includes regular loosening, weeding, fertilizing (nitrogen at the beginning of growth, then phosphorus and potassium), and abundant watering — especially during head formation. Pest prevention is carried out (cabbage white butterfly, aphids) as well as disease control (clubroot, blackleg). Harvesting is done when technical maturity is reached — dense head, characteristic varietal color, dry outer leaves.
