Bean seeds «Yin Yang»

Bean «Yin Yang» - this is a dwarf ornamental and edible bean variety with a distinctive black-and-white seed pattern resembling the yin-yang symbol. The plant belongs to bush-type shelling beans, grows about 40–50 cm tall, has medium-length pods, and matures in approximately 90–100 days.

The bush is compact and does not require support. The pods contain 5–7 oval-shaped seeds. The seeds are bicolored — white with black markings that form a pattern similar to the yin-yang symbol. This is a mid-season variety, producing a harvest about three months after seedling emergence.

The main purpose of the variety is the use of the seeds for food. They have a delicate flavor and are suitable for side dishes, soups, salads, and canning. During cooking, the seeds retain their shape and look highly decorative.

The advantages of the variety include its unusual appearance, versatility in culinary use, and good adaptation to growing conditions in Ukraine. In addition, it is resistant to common diseases of legume crops.

In cooking, it is used for soups, borscht, salads, and homemade preserves. Thanks to the contrasting coloration, the seeds give dishes a particularly attractive appearance.

The name may also be pronounced as Yin Yan.
