Insecticide for the protection of fruit and vegetable crops «Travers» - granular insecticide Travers is an effective means of protecting fruit trees and vegetable crops against a wide range of lepidopteran pests, in particular their larvae (caterpillars), which damage foliage and fruits. The basis of this preparation is the active ingredient emamectin benzoate – an insecticide of contact-intestinal action of the chemical class avermectins.
After spraying, the product quickly penetrates plant tissues and forms a reserve inside the treated leaves, which makes it resistant to external weather factors and reduces the risk of impact on bees and other pollinators. At the same time, the action of the preparation also extends to untreated areas of the crop. After penetrating the insect's body, the preparation causes disturbances in motor activity, as a result of which the caterpillars lose the ability to feed and die within a few days. The active component of the preparation Travers is characterized by an ovicidal action, which ensures control of pests at the egg stage.
Treatments with the insecticide Travers provide a high degree of protection for garden crops (apple, peach, cherry, sweet cherry, grapes, boxwood) and vegetable crops (cabbage, tomatoes) against most leaf-eating pests: cutworm caterpillars, codling moth, leafminer moth, cabbage white, box tree moth, leafroller, as well as aphids, San Jose scale, and thrips.
Advantages:
- The effectiveness of the preparation Travers does not depend on high temperatures or atmospheric precipitation;
- The protective functions of the insecticide are preserved for 14 days after treatment;
- The product provides effective control of caterpillars of most types of lepidopteran pests, such as cherry fruit fly, codling moths, cabbage whites, moths;
- Thanks to its ovicidal properties, the action of the preparation effectively destroys not only larvae but also egg clutches of pests;
