Tomato seeds «Magic Nut»

Tomato «Magic Nut No. 41» - an early-ripening, tall variety (plant height about 1.8 metres). The bushes are vigorous and dense, forming trusses of 7 fruits weighing from 20 to 40 grams. The fruits are round, variegated, very firm and fleshy. The taste is sweet with a slight acidity, taste rating — 5 points.

They are distinguished by a long storage period without loss of quality and taste. The variety shows high resistance to late blight.

Agricultural technology

A heat-loving crop. It is grown from seedlings or by sowing in open ground. For seedlings, seeds are sown from 1 to 10 March in nutritious pots measuring 10x10 centimetres. The seedlings grow in cups for 55-60 days before planting in the bed. They are planted in a permanent place in the second ten days of May according to the 50x50 centimetres scheme.

To obtain a high and early yield, tomatoes planted in the bed in the first days of May are temporarily covered with transparent film until warm weather sets in. The best predecessors are legumes, cucurbits, root vegetables and green crops. They must not be planted after potatoes, peppers, aubergines or physalis.

A sunny place protected from cold winds is allocated for planting; loamy soils with the addition of organic fertilisers are preferable.
