Sunflower decorative «Red sun» - an annual herbaceous plant with a simple rough ribbed stem 100 - 150 cm high. Inflorescences - baskets, large, many-flowered, red, 15 - 30 cm in diameter. Flowering lasts from mid-July to September. The plant is warm and light-loving, does not withstand frost. Grows well in fertile soils.

Seeds are sown in open ground in May. Shoots appear in 5-10 days. Does not tolerate transplant well. Use for group plantings, mixborders, wall decoration. The cut inflorescence looks beautiful in large vases and volumetric compositions.
