One of the best table varieties. The pulp is thick, tender, orange, very sweet, the fruit is segmented, flattened (stronger near the stalk, less at the top of the fruit). The average weight is 4.4-6.3 kg, the weight of individual fruits reaches 11-13 kg.
The color of the peel is light gray, it turns red during storage. The crumb is red-orange, thick (6.0-9.0 cm), sweet. The seeds are very large. The optimal ratio of sugars and acids in pumpkin makes it possible to use it raw, as well as for processing into juice, puree, chips, etc.
Its fruits contain 13-16% dry matter, 8-10% sugars and 10-12% carotene. The taste qualities of this pumpkin fruit are estimated at 4.8-5.0 points. Pumpkin «Zhdana» - weakly affected by powdery mildew and chestnut popelitsa, which is especially important, the fruits are stored for a long time (more than 150 days).
