Nicotiana alata (jasmine tobacco) «Mix» - this is an annual plant with erect stems, 60-90 cm high. Flowers of regular shape, various colors, 6-8 cm in diameter, are collected in loose inflorescences. During the daytime, the flowers are slightly covered, and with the onset of evening they open and emit a pleasant aroma.
It is grown by sowing seeds in open ground in May or through seedlings in April. Blooms from July until frost. Used in group plantings, to decorate flower beds and balconies.
It is called sweet tobacco, winged tobacco, tanbaku, and Persian tobacco.
