Ornamental fringed cabbage - is an annual plant 15-30 cm high. The decorative effect of the plant is given by a rosette of round, strongly fringed at the edges, blistered leaves of mixed colors. The outer leaves are most often green, while the inner leaves are pink, cream or red. It is grown by sowing seeds in open ground in May, or through seedlings in April. Decorative heads of cabbage are formed in early July. Used for decorative borders and group plantings, as well as for growing as a potted crop.
