Blue fenugreek «Utskho suneli» (mushroom grass) / Trigonella caerulca
An annual plant. Stem 30-80 cm long, straight with densely upward directed branches. The leaves are oblong, sharp-toothed at the edges. The stem of the inflorescence is longer than the leaves. The inflorescence is dense, capitate, spherical, after flowering it does not stretch and does not become loose.
The calyx is half as long as the corolla, its teeth are lanceolate, equal to the tube, the corolla is 5-6 mm long, blue, notched. The fruit is a bean, obovate-rhombic, 3 times as long as the calyx, sharply narrowed into an almost straight nose, 2 mm long, with slightly visible veins.
Blooms in June - July.
