Crimean pine / Pinus pallasiana - tree 15-20 m tall, with a broadly ovate dense, and in older trees with a flat umbellate crown and horizontal branches. The bark is dark gray or almost black, reddish in the upper part of the trunk.
Due to the long, up to 18 cm, dark green needles and dense crown foliation, it is very decorative and can be successfully used in single and group planting.
Grows slowly. It is drought-resistant, photophilous, quite stable in urban conditions, well resists winds.
Crimean pine develops well on sandy, stony and calcareous soil.
