Potassium nitrate - 100 grams

Potassium nitrate (potassium saltpeter, nitrate of potassium) - a dual-complex fertilizer suitable for various soils, especially for crops sensitive to chlorine (flax, potatoes, tobacco, grapes).

Mass fraction of nitrogen (N) — 13.5%, potassium (K2O) — 37.6%.

Potassium nitrate is an excellent form of potassium fertilizer for potatoes and cabbage. These crops are fertilized during hilling when the foliage is well-developed, and an excess of nitrogen should be avoided. In this case, potassium nitrate is an effective fertilizer, as it contains 3.5 times less nitrogen than potassium.

Recommended application rate per 1 m²:

• Base application for all crops — 15-20 grams of potassium nitrate.
• Fertilization for vegetable and fruit-bearing crops — 10-15 grams of potassium nitrate.
• Liquid fertilization — 30-40 grams of potassium nitrate per 10 liters of water (1 liter per plant, 0.5 liters per cucumbers).
