Kalimagnesia (kalimag, potassium, magnesium) - a highly effective potassium-magnesium fertilizer widely used in agriculture. It dissolves in water, does not cake, and dissolves with sediment.
Most effective on light sandy and sandy loam soils poor in magnesium. Kalimag, as a chlorine-free fertilizer, is usually used for chlorophobic crops: potatoes, tomatoes, tobacco, and others.
When using Kalimagnesia, the yield of almost all crops and grasses increases:
- Increases the starch content in potatoes, the sugar content of beets, apples.
- Prevents magnesium leaching from the soil when growing tea and other crops.
- Increases the content of vitamin C and the total sugars in citrus and other fruit crops, achieves a high yield of long fiber and oil from flax.
Application:
Kalimagnesia reduces the possibility of excessive nitrate accumulation in vegetables. Potassium and magnesium are well absorbed by the soil and retain their effect the year after the fertilizer is applied.
Application rate of the proposed potassium fertilizer:
- Fruit trees, shrubs - 20-30 grams of kalimag per 1 m² of the trunk circle.
- Vegetable crops - 15-20 grams / m².
- Root crops - 20-25 grams / m².
Average application rates:
- Basic autumn and spring tillage, depending on the soil, 300-600 grams of Kalimag per 10 m² (up to 5 kg per 1 hundred square meters, 120-150 kg per hectare).
- For early feeding - 80-100 grams per 10 m².
- For late feeding - 150-200 grams per 10 m².
- In greenhouses and greenhouses when digging the soil - 40-45 grams / m².
- For foliar feeding, use a solution: dissolve 20 grams of Kalimagnesia in 10 liters of water.
- To spray 1 hundred square meters of potato planting, use 5 liters of the resulting solution.
