Boric acid «PROVENTUS - is used as a fertilizer with fungicidal properties when growing agricultural crops. Increases productivity, helps increase the content of sugar, vitamin C and carotene in fruits, increases the intensity of flowering of flower crops.
Mode of application:
Spray the plants with a freshly prepared working solution of the drug in dry, windless weather in the morning or evening or during the day in cloudy but not rainy weather, ensuring uniform wetting of the leaves, in accordance with the table. The working solution is prepared by gradually adding water to the preparation with continuous stirring.
Application against ants: mix 100 grams of water with 1 tablespoon of sugar and a teaspoon of honey + 1 bag of 20 grams of boric acid. Then pour into caps and place near anthills.
Frequency of treatments:
White and cauliflower cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes: 2-3; other crops: 1-2. Can be used as prophylaxis.
To ensure that the solution is distributed evenly without forming large drops, it is advisable to use sprayers that form a thin cloud.
When processing potato tubers before planting, the consumption is 10 grams/10 l of water. 1 l/25 kg.
When sowing seeds, apply 2-3 grams per 1 m of furrow; when planting plants, apply 1 gram per hole, mixing with soil.
Hazard class: boric acid belongs to the lowest, 4th hazard class of harmful substances. It does not harm humans if it comes into contact with the skin, but can accumulate in the body since boron is slowly excreted by the kidneys. Not phytotoxic.
