Purple broadleaf lavender - a perennial ornamental plant with incredible flowers and an elegant fragrance. Numerous sprouts form a dense and compact bush, ranging in shape from pyramidal to spherical, reaching up to 60 cm in height. A significant part of the plant's height consists of the flower spike. The flowers are highly aromatic, with delicate bright purple petals.
It grows in protected sunny areas. Cultivation is done by sowing seeds directly into open ground in winter or spring. The plant requires winter protection. Before spring sowing, the seeds undergo stratification.
Lavender flowers are used in bouquets, for filling sleep pillows, in cooking, and for fragrance.
