Artichoke (green) - is a delicious vegetable plant. In the southern and central regions it is grown as a perennial cover crop. The bush is tall, 150-200 cm high. The flowers are large, green in color, 10-15 cm in diameter.
Inflorescences-baskets with a fleshy receptacle and large, juicy, numerous leaves are used for food. The baskets with part of the peduncle are cut off before flowering begins, when the scales in the central part open. Used for preparing salads, minced meats, purees and sauces.
